As immersive production becomes more complex, there’s rising demand for compact 1-Chip DLP™ projectors capable of streamlining workflows and inspiring guests with 4K visuals. In response, Panasonic combined its REQ12 Series with the new REQ15 to create its best 1-Chip DLP™ projector to date: the REQ15 Series. With resource-friendly design shaped by co-creative partnerships, the REQ15 Series unlocks a future rich in creative possibility.
Inspire Wonder with Spectacular 4K Visuals
Deliver smooth 4K1 images, unlock 2K/240 Hz6 projection with a latency of 6 ms7 or less, and merge digital and analog elements to gamify your attraction with our real-time tracking projection-mapping SDK8. With Evolved Dynamic Contrast and Rich Color Enhancer, immersive sensory production is within reach.
Compact Design Simplifies Complex Workflows
The light and compact REQ15 Series simplifies complex layouts with labor-saving innovations. It delivers full brightness on AC 100–240 V power9, suits new optional lenses with throw ratios from 0.308:1, ET-FMP50 Series media processors10, and function boards11 for the Intel® SDM standard-compatible SLOT to support AVoIP transmission.
Supreme Reliability for Long-term Operation
With an optical engine and laser light-source module that conform to the IP5X Dust Protected (IEC 60529) standard12 and liquid cooling to support 20,000 hours13 of maintenance-free projection, these rugged projectors secure unrivalled stability and reliability in tough commercial environments.
1 With Quad Pixel Drive [ON].
2 Measurement, measuring conditions, and notation method all comply with ISO/IEC 21118: 2020 international standards. Value is the average of all products when shipped.
3 Average light output value of all shipped products measured at the center of the screen in NORMAL Mode.
4 Maximum physical resolution with Quad Pixel Drive [ON].
5 Only when the optional TY-SB01DL DIGITAL LINK Terminal Board is loaded.
6 Supports input signals up to 1080p. The display frame rate corresponds to the input signal frame rate.
7 Value is approximate. May vary depending on the input signal, peripheral devices, and other conditions.
8 The optional ET-SWR10 Software Development Kit (SDK) is used with third-party devices (sold separately). Compatibility with third-party devices cannot be guaranteed, and other limitations apply. For more information, please visit the ET-SWR10 webpage.
9 Maximum light output may decrease in the following situations: when a function board is installed in the slot, when voltage drops below AC 100 V, when the light source has deteriorated from use, or when dust has accumulated on the optical parts.
10 ET-FMP50 Series media processors are sold separately. For more information, please visit the ET-FMP50 Series webpage.
11 Optional proprietary and third-party function boards are sold separately. Panasonic cannot guarantee the operation of third-party devices.
12 The Dust Protected performance of this unit is not guaranteed to be free from damage or failure under all conditions (environment with conductive dust, etc.). Please use an enclosure in environments with smoke containing oil, salt, and moisture.
13 Around this time, the light output will have decreased by approximately 50 %. IEC62087: 2008 Broadcast Contents, NORMAL Mode, Dynamic Contrast [3], temperature 35 °C (95 °F), elevation 700m (2,297 ft) with 0.15 mg/m3 of airborne particulate matter. Panasonic recommends a checkup at the point of purchase after about 20,000 hours. Light-source lifetime may be reduced depending on the environmental conditions. Replacement of parts other than the light source may be required in a shorter period. Estimated maintenance time varies depending on the environment.
