‘One Panasonic’ CSR Activity at APSN Katong School for our 58th National Day Celebrations

After a brief hiatus due to Covid-19, on 8 August 2023, 30 of our Panasonic employees from Singapore Companies participated in the ‘One Panasonic’, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event for National Day Celebrations at APSN (Association for Persons with Special Needs) Katong School located at New Upper Changi Road.. APSN is a Social Service Agency that provides special education, vocational training, and employment support services for individuals with Mild Intellectual Disability. It was indeed a privilege for our Panasonic employees to have an opportunity to participate in this school event and get to interact with their students.

Industrial visit by students and faculty members of TMCIT (Japan)

On 6th September 2023, Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Panasonic), welcomed a group of 42 Japanese, comprising of 36 students and 6 professors (faculty members of the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology (TMCIT). This industrial visit was jointly organised by both PFSAP and the college with the aim to go beyond academics and provide students with a practical perspective of how companies from the manufacturing industry generally operates and also to give them an insight on the internal work processes at a manufacturing plant.

Park Clean-up CSR Activity at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Parks

On 29th September 2023, the Promotion & Training Sub-committee of Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. organised a park cleanup at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. The main objective of the CSR activity was to gather volunteers to litter pick around the Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park and for them to do their part in keeping Singapore clean. By maintaining a clean Singapore, not only do we reduce wastage on earth, but we are also able to contribute to the reduction of pollution and in-turn preserve our biosphere and earth's natural resources.
