AG-DVX200 Video - Key Features

The AG-DVX200 4K camcorder is inundated with a variety of high quality and intelligent features to ensure versatility and stunning image reproduction. Not only does this fixed lens 4K camcorder use shallow depth of field, it also employs a log curve which uses 12 dynamic stops to ensure accurate editing. Grading images using V-Log (Originally used for the VariCam 35, also found in the Lumix GH4) ensures that colour contrasts are expertly highlighted and that the graded images are vivid and sharp. The AG-DVX200 also combats a common issue for 4K camcorders – file size. Usually, images produced by a 4K camcorder will be extremely large. However, by using 4:2:0 8bit recording, the DVX200 produces smaller file sizes which are also easy to edit in post-production.

Notes before Installing:- You cannot upgrade WV-ASF950 version 1.xx or 2.xx directly to 4.xx. For version 1.xx or 2.xx, upgrade to 3.20 using “UpdateTool_for_ASF950_V1_V2_to_V3_20.zip” and then upgrade to 4.xx using this software. - Contig (defragmentation utility) needs to be installed for WV-ASF950 Version 2.31 or later. (Click here for the detail on Contig Installation) - About graphics cardThe driver version of graphics card needs to be 471.68 or later for WV-ASF950 version 4.00 or later. Download and install the driver software from the website of video card manufacturer or NVIDIA. (Click here to go to NVIDIA Website) - Caution for Windows updateWhen updating the Windows OS after installing this software, be sure to follow the instructions in "Procedure for Windows Update".
